These laser-cut wood assemblages are all sorts of joyful.
There’s nothing like bold shades and geometric shapes to brighten our days with ’90s-flavoured joy, which is why we are loving Tierney Milne’s latest series of laser-cut wood assemblages. Her latest series, aptly titled Happy Cuts, provides cheerful pops of colour and would make our eyes smile if that were physically possible. Based in Vancouver, Tierney is a self-described “designer-illustrator hybrid with a penchant for whimsical and unexpected solutions”, and recalls being inspired by childhood loves of Sailor Moon and Lisa Frank.
