We started off our night with an amuse bouche of smoked salmon with capers, caviar, pink peppercorns and a crème Fraiche.

For appetisers, one can choose from a choice of Tuna Carpaccio and Buffalo Mozzarella. This refreshing combination of semi-dried cherry tomatoes, raw tuna, orange segment and yuzu dressing makes a head-turning dinner starter.P1200179
The buffalo mozzarella salad with a medley of tomatoes, basil and balsamic reduction has well-balanced flavour with a hint of sweetness and tartness from the balsamic reduction.

They served it piping hot with a drizzle of truffle oil and the end result is a bowl of earthy, musky mushroom soup with tremendous flavour.

As for the mains, one can choose from either braised short rib, braised lamb shank or pan seared cod fish with choice of vegetable and starch: roasted potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, carrots, garlic mashed potatoes or pomme puree.

Pan seared cod fish with seafood broth, cocotte vegetables and white wine. The fish is a thing of beauty, with its beautiful golden crispy skin and juicy flesh inside.

Braised Short Rib with Red Wine Reduction

This dish features fork- tender short ribs braised in a velvety, deeply-flavoured red wine sauce – goes really well with a glass of Malbec.

New Zealand Braised Lamb Shank with pomme puree and au jus. Braised for long hours, these lamb shanks are falling-off-the-bone tender. The smooth, creamy and velvety pomme puree also soaked up all the tasty au jus.
