Whip up a batch of white bean hummus for a healthy (and super-yummy) afternoon snack.
It’s not that we’re lazy exactly (well, maybe a little), but we do very much appreciate recipes that only require grabbing a few ingredients, chucking them in a food processor, and giving it a whizz. Case in point: this hummus recipe from Vegetarian Venture. They’ve swapped out chickpeas (the traditional basis of hummus) for white beans (or cannellini beans, as you may know them), and have added a few zesty condiments, too. Serve it with some piping hot bread, and voilà – you’ve got yourself one heck of an afternoon treat. Enjoy!
